In order to be considered a true miniature quilt, the quilt must have all the elements of a full size quilt. Whereas a small quilt is just smaller in size a miniature quilt has the same number of pieces as a full size quilt but each piece is considerably and proportionally smaller. The challenge is to ensure each piece and seam is perfect. Even a 1/16” error in a miniature quilt will be noticeable.
