“Canada’s Centennial Quilt”
Susan's Grandmother, Lena Beatrice (Carscadden) Birkenshaw pieced, hand embroidered and liquid embroidered this quilt top in 1967 for Canada’s centennial but it remained unfinished when she died in 1971.
In 2007 Susan completed it by adding binding and domestic machine quilting it. 173cm x 210cm
